Hi Joseph (and Brenda),
Here is the updated proposal and also information I found on the prices for hardware including educators discounts. Perhaps we should only purchase 25 netbooks; it will lower our costs by $1,000. As it stands, if we only go for the Best Buy grant the award is $2,000-$10,000. One of our schools did receive $10,000, so it is possible. Do you think we should include an additional grant just in case?

Objectives**
On completion of this session, students will be able to:
1) Identify a funding agency that funds educational technology projects
2) Develop a funding proposal based on given criteria for development of proposals.
3) Provide justification for importance of project described in the proposal
4) Evaluate best practices in developing funding proposals.

Our project is to write a grant proposal for a classroom set (30) of Acer mini laptop notebooks. The proposal will include a wireless cart and printer that have Internet accessability. Included in the proposal is a $5,000 business partner donation to the elementary school for the upkeep of the wireless lab. This includes paper, ink, and repair costs if neccessary.
